Slow Roll bearings for roller skates are the best way for beginners to slow down their skates!
We do not suggest tightening your axle nuts to slow your roll, as they can easily be overtightened and damage the bearings, causing them to fail. Instead, the best way to slow down your skates is to replace your bearings with the Slow Roll bearing alternative, which will slow down your wheels while you learn to skate. As you become more comfortable, you can loosen the Slow Rolls, and then eventually replace the Slow Roll bearings with regular bearings!
IMPORTANT: This is a set of 8 Slow Roll bearings for roller skates (8mm). Each wheel has 2 bearings (16 total for a pair of skates). Please note, you will only need to replace the bearings on 2 of your wheels per skate! We recommend replacing the bearings on the inside front wheel and the outside rear wheel on each skate.

Slow roll bearings
I'm 74 former surfer rollerblader bike rider trying to skate again rollerblades not happening got rollerskates too fast need to slow them down but your bearings set them up the only thing I had to do was turn the locking nuts around they're not grabbing enough little silicone spray and so far so good I'm buying another set for my massage therapist who is in her 50s I want to get her going to but I worked at the job that tore up my joints so rollerskating and then back up to roller blading is the only way to go and I should be surfing this summer so thank you for this product it's a lifesaver for old people that want to get back in shape !!!

Slow Roll Bearings
I love them ! I am a new skater in my 40s so speed is not what I am looking for and I can feel the difference. I did also change my wheels to a Larger Outdoor wheel and the two together are perfect . It's like training wheels for my skates without damaging my regular bearings . Used as instructed they don't go on all the wheels .

Slow rolling for gaining confidence!
Absolute game changers for this beginner. I can now focus on where my feet and body weight need to go to without worrying about how I’m going to stop/slow down/crash.. I am able to be more deliberate in my movements and feel like I gained headway in a shorter period of time. The first time I stepped off carpet and onto linoleum flooring in these, I felt safe and grounded instead of fearing that I’m going to slip and fall. These allow me to skate slowly and not go too fast before pushing off again. Great for practicing T-stops and doing tricks in slow motion to gain muscle memory. They’re like “Skater Trainers” but for roller skates instead of skateboards. Lol! However, you’ll still be able to roll, albeit slower. I put two bearing on two wheels of each skate as recommended on this shop’s site.

Slow bearings
Just so you know you need 2 packs. My son who has special needs and loves to roller skate. I have been able to adjust the spin on the wheels so he can be independent and love doing this more and more. They have worked well and he will eventually be able to put the original bearing back in. I highly suggest this for people who are concerned about people falling and getting injured as they are learning how to use skates and be aware of your body in space.
